BOOMERANG TRAINING FOR STUDENT LEADERS
Training for Students in Middle School and High School who wish to join the school's Restorative Justice student leadership team to become positive role models for their peers.
These students then would sit in on appropriate Restorative Justice intervention circles to assist the adult facilitator in circle dialogs to discuss the behavior issue, learn what happened, who was affected, and recommend ways to repair any harm.
Half day of training for up to 15 students at the school.
Training for Teachers who wish to use Classroom Connection Circles for classroom management, building strong, healthy relationships with their students for a connected, harmonious classroom and school community as well as to address general discipline issues in the classroom.
Half day of training for 25-30 participants:
Full school year of weekly mentoring/coaching by a highly trained and experienced YTC coach:* (*Colorado Springs only)
Training for Teachers and School Staff who wish to use Restorative JusticeConferences for discipline intervention to address issues such as interpersonal conflicts, bullying, verbal and physical conflicts, theft, damage to property, class disruption, harassment and internet harassment, and attendance issues.
Half day of training for up to 25 participants:
Full school year of weekly mentoring/coaching by a highly trained and experienced YTC practitioner (Colorado Springs only)
